Office Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30p.m.

Sunday Morning Parking
When you arrive on Sunday morning, you may choose to park in one of three main lots. Two of these will be to your left and right as you enter at the front of the building. These lots fill up quickly so you may wish to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts to find a spot. The third parking lot is located behind the building and is convenient for parents with children – our Children’s Ministry volunteers will be there to help you find Sunday school classrooms and the nursery.

Handicap parking is located along both sides of the building.

On many special occasions (Christmas, Easter) parking lot attendants will help you navigate the lots, and shuttle buses will take you to and from satellite parking areas.

Worship Services
We have two main Sunday morning services, Worship Alive at 9:30 a.m. and Live at Eleven at 11:00 a.m. These two services take place in the main auditorium. The style of worship at the first service draws on elements from the vibrant history of traditional worship, including a balanced mix of hymns and choruses, and a variety of instruments – from organ to guitar. At Live at Eleven, a praise band and singers will lead you in contemporary singing. Each service is generally 60 minutes long and includes worship through song, prayer, and giving, as well as a teaching time. The first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord’s Table together.

We also have a number of Sunday morning services and programs for children, youth, and seniors:

Worship Alive Kids (Sunday School, birth to grade 5) – 9:30 a.m. in various classrooms
Live at Eleven Kids (Kids Worship, grades K-5) – 11:00 a.m. in the downstairs LCS gym

Bitz (Youth Hang Time, grades 6-12) – 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall
Metamorphosis (Youth Worship, grades 6-12) – 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Big Groups (Adult Education) – 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in various rooms
The Gathering (55+ Fellowship) – 10:30 a.m. in room 144

Ushering and Touchpoint Ministry
Hosts at the auditorium doors will hand you a bulletin that outlines the order of service for the day. These men and women can also help you find a place to sit on one of our comfortably cushioned pews.

At the end of each service, a team of men and women wearing red lanyards are available for prayer or encouragement. These safe and caring individuals are part of our TouchPoint team.  You can meet them at the front of the auditorium, near the stage.

Dress

Our church family is large and its members are of a wide range of ages and backgrounds. The pastors and worship leaders usually dress in conservative ‘business casual’ attire on stage, but you’ll find people at Grant dressed in everything from blue jeans to business suits.

Welcome Centre
On your first visit, we invite you to stop by our Welcome Centre, located in room 155. From 9:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., our friendly volunteers will be there to answer your questions about Grant, and you can enjoy some coffee and refreshments.

Grant Central
Feeling lost? Stop at Grant Central, prominently located in the front foyer. Our volunteers will point you in the right direction. At Grant Central you’ll also find the Event Guide, a regularly updated guide to life in our community.

Comment Cards
Near the start of each service, Auditorium Hosts will pass out comment cards. If you’d like us to send you information on any of our ministry areas, fill out a card and drop it in the offering basket. There is also a place for your comments or prayer requests.

What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is a meeting together of three to twelve people on a regular basis, with the expressed purpose of encouraging one another in our spiritual journeys. We share our lives, study the Bible, and care for each other. We believe that it is within relationships that Christianity has its greatest practical impact.

Why join a Small Group?
  • Spiritual Nurture: We develop an in-depth spiritual community as we discover biblical truths for daily living.
  • Personal Encouragement: We provide stability and support of one another. Stress-filled people walking the tight rope of life need others to hold the life net and give them stability. The challenge is not only to walk our own tight rope but also to hold the net for someone else.
  • Practical Discipleship: We apply God’s Word to our lives. We encourage each other in spiritual growth, prayer, personal Bible study and outreach.

Which group should I pick?

We offer groups for couples, singles, men, women, young adults, home groups, book studies, support groups and much more. Try out a number of groups and settle into the one where you are most comfortable. Check out our Small Group Directory for a complete list of the Small Groups available.

How do I join a group?

Finding the perfect Small Group may seem like a daunting task, but at Grant we make it easy.

1. You can view an Online Directory of small groups, complete with a brief profile of each group, its meeting location, current topic of study and the night that it meets.

2. You can fill out a Small Group Profile which will help us get to know you, your needs and what you are looking for in a Small Group. We can offer some helpful suggestions as to which group might best suit your needs.

3. You can visit Small Group Central on Sunday morning. It is located outside the auditorium in the main foyer. You will be greeted by a Small Group Coach and have the opportunity to discuss your Small Group needs.

If these steps still seem daunting, contact us and we’ll help you find the perfect fit.

Why join a Small Group?
Good Reason No. 1 Sometimes we can feel lost in the crowd at church ... but not in a Small Group!
Building relationships in a small group is one of the best ways to make a big church feel warm and personal. On a Sunday morning, you'll never get to know everyone, but in a small group you can.

Good Reason No. 2 A small group will provide you with a group of like-minded people who want to Do Life Together with you!
Your small group will become like family—a “home” away from home. As you build relationships in your group, you’ll find that you won’t want to stand alone any longer. Many people involved in small groups are sharing their lives and going through the ups and downs of life together.

Good Reason No. 3 – A Small Group will challenge you to grow spiritually.
You will receive encouragement and be challenged as you do life together with those in your Small Group. You will grow as you study and pray together and within this face-to-face context, you can be sharpened spiritually “as iron sharpens iron.”

Good Reason No. 4 You will be able to make a difference in the lives of other people.
When we merely receive from others, we can enjoy only half of what the Christian life can offer. The Christian life can be much fuller when each person begins to use his or her spiritual gifts to serve God and others. By simply responding to real needs of real people in your small group, you can make a difference in their lives.
